romp around
i never in my life thought i would write these words, but here it is: I’M WEARING A ROMPER. with pleats. and a zipper. in order to pee, i have to get mostly naked. it is a very ridiculous garment, and yet i wore it twice last week. and i LIKED IT.
my first day out and about in my romper, i thought of ‘the man repeller’. i took my dogs out for their morning walk, and the garbage collectors were on my street. usually they do some sort of cat-calling at me, so i walked by quickly with my gaze averted… and… nothing! then i decided to take the long way to the subway, where i go over a busy bridge that, again, yields a cat-call or two from some AARP-card-carrying truckers. and again… complete silence!
thus, it seems that i have managed to find the least sexy garment known to man. if your goal is to avoid any lascivious male attention, get thee to uniqlo while this little number is still dominating the super-sale racks!
